I don’t remember Target having this in Maryland so maybe this isn’t a thing where you live.
Where I live, they have this all-natural skincare section that also has mini sizes to try.
Serious game changer for me.
Just this year I’ve noticed that my skin has started to change. My pores are larger and the overall tone and texture of my skin is changing. My supple, always hydrated skin is fading and I’m noticing that a little more upkeep is necessary… which I can’t say I’m mad about it because I’m actually having fun finding things that are reversing the changes while pampering myself a little more each day. 💁🏽
I swiped these babies in the “sample size” natural skincare aisle in Target and happy to report my findings. Ladies, we don’t have to spend a fortune on our quest to glowing, healthy, organic skin. Praise God! 😂🙌🏽💛✨
Guys, I discovered that vitacost and pharmaca have these on sale even more than these prices, yasssss…I’ve been using pharmaca more now that I found them because you have to spend less to get free shipping ($35, instead of vitacost’s $49 — why haven’t I found this sooner) and you get 2 free samples with your order. BOOM.
Acure Brightening Facial Scrub
Full Size (4 oz) – $9.99
Sample Size (1 oz) : $3.99
Argan extract + Chlorella
I really, really am loving this stuff. Very exfoliating, I even had to use a gentle hand while rubbing it on my face because otherwise it would be too abrasive for me but it is awesome at removing dead skin cells and I felt as though the scrub helped to penetrate my skin to reap the full benefits of the ingredients. The granules are very fine which work really well and they are made from sea kelp powder, walnut shell flour, and lemon peel granules versus synthetic beads which are bad for the environment.
NOTE: If you have irritation or a perioral dermatitis flare up, this scrub might be too harsh. I still avoided the creases of my nose to avoid irritation and those with extremely sensitive skin might enjoy something a little more gentle.
What I like:
*gluten-free, phthalate-free, no fragrance added, paraben-free, contains kelp, butylparaben-free, formaldehyde donor-free, formaldehyde-free, nonylphenol ethoxylate free, propylparaben-free, Sulfate-free, paraben-free
🌿The acai, pomegranate, blackberry and rosehip fruit extracts are loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants. They contain anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.
🌿The lemon peel granules, walnut shell flour, and kelp powder help to exfoliate the skin naturally.
🌿The kelp also helps to detox the skin, offers skin rejuvenation, tightens pores, and fades facial scars/blemishes due to its niacin content.
»»It also includes vitamin C (cell regeneration), potassium (required for proper skin hydration), iron (promotes circulation, creating healthy and supple glow), choline (oil reduction, soothes skin irritation and revitalizes mature skin).
🌿The calendula, chamomile, sage, argan, and spearmint oil collectively contain gentle antibacterial properties and are extremely soothing and healing to damaged skin.
Earthy, natural, mild. It smells almost like licorice to me, but not offensively. I very seriously hate the smell of licorice but this doesn’t bother me.
This 1 oz bottle will last me a long time because that pea sized amount that I have pictured is all I needed to cover my entire face.
Weleda Skin Food
Full Size (2.5 oz): $11.39
Sample Size (0.34 oz): $3.50
Look how cute this little travel size is. It seems really small but this baby packs a lot for its size.
It is very rich and creamy and loaded with hydration. It has a lot of oil and because of its consistency and texture, I use it as an eye cream at nighttime. It feels nutritive for sensitive and thinner skin and would be great in the winter time for cracked hands and dry skin. I only wear this before bed rather than daytime (really anytime I’m not planning on wearing makeup) because it would likely smear mascara.
My skin is left looking dewy and fresh and I have noticed a change in the skin around my eyes after using this for a couple of weeks.

Mild and natural citrus aroma 🍊 subtle and uplifting.
What I Like:

Organic pansy is known for its mild antiseptic properties that calm dry irritation, rosemary leaf extract’s mild antiseptic properties are soothing to the skin, and the anti-inflammatory properties of organic calendula flower extract gently nourish, heal, protect, and care for your skin.
Sw Basics 3 Ingredients Cream:

Sample Size (0.7 oz): $9.99
I used to make my own body cream before I stopped making the time and so I was curious to try this one. I like it. It has the perfect amount of coconut oil because it melts in your hand but has the benefits of olive and shea butter.
It smells like organic shea butter, which isn’t floral or pretty and my husband doesn’t prefer it, but it’s nice for hydration.
I use it on face, neck, and hands, and this little jar will last a long time for my needs. It would be great as an all over body cream as well.

So I’m a wash-your-face-with-a-washcloth and call it a day kind of woman but this was on sale and so I thought, why not. 🤗 #treatyoself
This is interesting because it is rock hard when you take it out of the package but once you wet it, it softens up a lot. It is not abrasive like I was expecting, but rather very soft and gentle on the skin. I wet it and then add a small amount of face cleanser to it and use tiny circles to wash my entire face and neck. It lathers very well, squeezes like a sponge, and dries quickly. It’s not as effective at removing eye makeup as a washcloth but I imagine it’s a lot better for my delicate skin and I kind of like having something reserved solely for my face–instead of a washcloth that has been used to scrub butts, feet, and showers in the past 😂😂
