I always love seeing the actual lip colors on people before I buy a product. It can be a lot of pressure buying organic makeup online– it’s amazing quality and is a lot better for your skin and body, but with that of course comes with a higher cost.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not a fan of sending stuff back. It’s a hassle, I always forget, and I end up just keeping it or giving it away, which is a waste of money. I don’t consider myself a beauty blogger, but I think it might be helpful posting swatches for people who might have similar skin tones as me. So here it is:
Juice Beauty is another organic skincare line that I’ve learned to love ☺
Once I made the switch to non-toxic skincare, I started researching different brands. Juice Beauty is one brand that came up with promising reviews.
What’s different about Juice Beauty (so far) is that they have a wider range of color schemes to choose from that align with my taste.
Like I’ve mentioned in the past, my go-to’s are brown and neutral tones.
100% Pure helps me to appreciate and highlight my natural features, but when I want something a little more bold, I go for my Juice Beauty lip products. (One day I might be brave enough to rock a red lip, and if so, I do know that 100% Pure is pretty well known for that.)
Today, I will show 4 Satin Lip Creams:
The first color is Blush. This is a beautiful casual color that enhances the natural look of your lips. I’d consider it almost a reddish brown. You see hues of pinks, brown, and tan. This is what it looks like on me.
I adore this color. Syrah is a deep, bold purple, almost like elderberry. Here I have applied several layers to show you how pigmented it can get, but if blotted on lightly you can control the intensity.
This color is really fun. Napa is a bright “tickle-me-pink” color that is really fun. Again, here I’ve applied several coats to show you how deep the color can get, but applied gently and blotted can take on a much more natural shade.
I wear this color all of the time. Rosé is not too bold, but makes a statement. It is a sandy light brown, almost muddy, with burnt orange undertones. It really goes with any of my outfits so far–definitely my style for a casual look. Its versatile and can take on a completely different look when used with a lip liner.
These lip satins truly are silky smooth and feel like butter, just like the name suggests. Because of their soft texture, I have to be careful about how hard I press when applying and if you press too hard you can smoosh the whole stick. However, in terms of the color payoff, the shades are gorgeous and long-lasting without reapplication. They moisturize as well as accentuate your lips and I know I will be getting a lot of use out of these. If you’re looking for something that is non-drying but fun to play with, I’d definitely recommend giving these a try.
