It has been quite the journey finding a face regimen that works for my sensitive skin. When I was dealing with perioral dermatitis and rosacea, any little thing irritated my skin. It was really frustrating and discouraging when I knew that natural products could be a solution, but couldn’t find any that were effective. When I first learned about this company and took the leap to buy this moisturizer, I had really low expectations because nothing seemed to work for me.
This bottle costs $48.00 for 1.6 oz. Initially I thought that this was a little excessive and I was going to be angry if I learned that I just wasted my money, but thankfully that’s not what happened. Now that I’ve used it, I’ll be buying this again and again because I can’t remember the last time I used a moisturizer that didn’t cause some sort of reaction to my skin.
This moisturizer is an extremely lightweight formula that smooths into your skin so effortlessly and soothes any irritations you might have. You truly only need one pump, which is why it lasts so long. I bought this in March, use it daily–twice a day, and still have just under half a bottle left.
I use this baby sparingly…not just because I’m cheap, (lol that, too) but mostly because that’s all you need. I use one pump in the center of my hand, dip my finger in it and create dots around my eyes, forehead, chin, and then smooth the remainder all over my face. The massaging already brightens up my skin and creates blood-flow that awakens my face, and the antioxidants and vitamins nourish my skin. It makes my face feel softer, moisturized, but never greasy. When my skin was really thirsty, this wasn’t quite enough, but it was a great starting point.
100% Pure prides itself on the purity and quality of their products. I didn’t think something like this existed unless I made it myself but by looking at the ingredients, you know it’s true. My son could get this in his mouth and I wouldn’t freak out like I would if he ate my old Oil of Olay.
It is comprised of nourishing stuff like:
Organic Aloe Leaf Juice
Rose Flower Water
Organic Pomegranate Seed Oil
Coenzyme Q10 from Olive Oil
Alpha Lipoic Acid from Spinach or Broccoli
Japanese Honeysuckle Extract
Among other skin-loving ingredients (Which are always listed on their website.)
I would recommend this product to anyone with combination, oily, or sensitive skin.
Have you tried 100% Pure products? What was your experience? Let me know if there are any other products you’d recommend and as I keep adding to my collection, I’ll keep you guys updated.
